| Code 95 – Long Course Long course (280 hours) is basic professional driver training required to obtain Code 95. It is mandatory for those who want to work as hired drivers in the EU for the first time and do not have professional authorization for freight or passenger transportation. Who is the long course designed for?

| Code 95 – Short Course Short course (35 hours) is mandatory periodic training for drivers who already have professional authorization to operate category C, CE, D, or DE vehicles and want to extend the validity of Code 95. This is a course without an exam, conducted at a training center. Upon completion, the driver receives new Code 95 certification. Who is the short course designed for?

| Chip Card What is a driver's chip card? A driver's chip card (tachograph card) is a personal electronic card used to record driver working time when operating vehicles equipped with a digital tachograph. The card stores data about driving, breaks, rest periods, and driver activity. Without it, it is prohibited to operate a truck or bus with a digital tachograph in the EU territory. Who needs a chip card? For truck drivers (C, CE) and bus drivers (D, DE) working as employees or as private carriers. For those who perform commercial transportation in Poland and other EU countries. For drivers who are taking Code 95 training and planning official employment. For owners of transport companies if they operate vehicles themselves. A chip card is mandatory when working with any vehicle equipped with a digital tachograph — without it, the driver may receive a fine, and the employer may face sanctions. |
